We absolutely loved our stay at Craigrownie guest house. The staff are warm and wonderful. The rooms are beautiful with gorgeous views and plenty space. 2 min walk to the beach its the perfect location. Can’t wait to return.
Situated in an amazing part of Cape Town, peaceful but close to a great selection of restaurants. I will definitely be returning there, cant wait to go back. Highly recommended to any local or traveler looking for a lovely place to stay.
“Peace and Beauty”
Excellent stay and strongly recommended. Quiet, professional with a lovely view in a beautiful setting. A small dip pool to cool down. The comfort of a hotel but the character of a home. Fresh fruit at night if you arrive late and peckish.
“Faulty Towers it is not!”
Quirky it is! Sometimes there are no staff there but you can treat the place like home. We loved it so much we returned at the end of our extended holiday for another week here. You can walk to the shops and a wonderful array of restaurants (try the Thai one upstairs next to Woolworths. Brilliant as not affected by the powercut!). Seafront is only moments away providing safe walking and fabulous sunsets. Doreen is a marvel. We would return at the drop of a hat… and fully intend to do so. Thank you.
“Home from Home”
Besides location, comfort, cleanliness and aesthetically pleasing decor what I always look for on business trips is a relaxed and friendly atmosphere ….. Craigrownie was all this and more. The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home and accommodate us with special needs such as preparing dinners which were left for us to warm up when we arrived back late worn and weary from a busy day of filming. For their warm hospitality, flexibility in fitting in with our needs and friendship, ten out of ten!!
